I find it funny that Asuna was used for this confession, as she doesn’t really overplay her archetype(her Tsundere-ness was about the same as Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate considering what I’ve seen from both of them). I honestly think Asuka from Evangelion would have been more appropriate considering the wording in the confession.
Also, in response to the confession(since Tsundere is my favorite out of the -dere archetypes), it’s mainly because their “soft side” is, more often than not, incredibly cute and they become a lot more likable once they basically abandon the whole “It’s not like I’m in love with you, i-idiot” attitude.
